We enjoyed the 2 bar pools, sandy beach, Arabian sea swimming area, hooka bar, and outside staff who arranged a soccer game on a cloudy day - thus our recommendation. We did not enjoy the outdated management philosophy that clearly did not put us first. We arrived early due to transportation. No effort was made to get us into our room early, allow us to use our breakfast coupon the day we arrived since we would be leaving too early to use it the day we left, or in any way indicate that they cared we were there. We went to the driving range to kill time and the attendant was extremely obnoxious, barely giving us the clubs we requested after questioning how often we played golf. In addition, the car attendants tried mightily to prevent us from taking a taxi when one was present. The hotel itself looks like a prison from the outside. Hallways are very narrow and rooms small for the price. Also, be aware that the sea view is being obstructed by the building of a new island. Too sum it up, we enjoyed the pools & setting but found too many unpleasant staff and policies inside.

Having booked our holiday I looked at some reviews on Tripadviser and thought we`d made a bad decision. On arrival at 2.30am we were most surprised. The Jebel Ali is a bit off the beaten track and not as close to the main area as we thought but that turned out to be just wonderful. The building work being carried out everywhere is off putting but being where we were was ideal and away from it. The resort staff were so friendly and welcoming,nothing was too much trouble. We had our two year old boy with us and they loved him too. The hotel also provided a courtesy (AIR CONDITIONED)bus to the mall`s etc which meant we could venture out when and if we wanted to. The only negative point about this hotel is the price of the food in the restaurants(but that has a lot to do with the exchange rate just now) We would recommend this hotel and will look to book for next year!

Fantastic relaxing hotel, staff very firendly and extremely helpful

I cant say enough about this hotel! For the money we paid, there is alot to do at this resort! The pools and beach are wonderful. The entire resort is extremely well maintained and they take pride in pleasing their guests. The only downfall was that the front guys did not know alot about Dubai's attractions, which was a disappointment. Other than that, I would definatly recommend this hotel and I would also stay here again.

Vor 10 jahren waren wir das 1. Mal im Dubai und wohnten 10 Tage im Jbel Ali Hotel. Wir lebten in einem ca. 45 m² großem Zimmer mit terasse . Diesmal wählten wir ein DZ im Hotel. Das war der größte Fehler. Kleines Zimmer, "Mickey Mouse Badezimmer" mit Duschvorhang, nur eine Schiebetüre als Belichtung, bauarbeiten wegen THE PALMS in Sichtweite..... Kein Sonnenuntergang mit Blick auf das Meer in Zukunft möglich. Katastrophale Abreiseorganisation btgl. Fahrt zum Flughafen.(Taxi) Wir sagen Jebel Ali "Auf Wiedersehen " aber kommen nicht mehr wieder

Prachtig hotel. Het management is echter ronduit onbeschoft, laat een zeer bittere nasmaak achter. Na veel gereisd te hebben en verbleven te hebben in vergelijkbare hotels, zijn wij absoluut niet van plan om ooit terug te keren, naar aanleiding van verschillende negatieve ervaring tijdens een dezelfde reis, waartoe het management absoluut geen enkele poging deed om zelfs enkel begrip op te brengen. Een absolute afrader dit hotel. Toppunt was toen wij broodjes hadden besteld wat te laat werdt geserveerd (ondanks dat we bij de bestelling hadden opgegeven dat we snel wilde eten om tijdig naar het vliegveld te kunnen vertrekken, de bestelling per ongeluk de andere kant vh restaurant op ging (wat kan gebeuren) en wij daardoor in tydnood kwamen. het verzoek om het broodje mee te mogen nemen werdt afgewezen en wij werden als óplossing'aangeboden'dat we het eten niet hoefde te betalen, mits we 'geen enkele hap meer zouden nemen.'(!) Daarbovenop werdt een hotellimousine besteld, terwijl uitdrukkelijk was gevraagd om een taxi, die voordeliger is. De dienstdoende manager werdt ingelicht over ons ongenoegen door zijn collega, maar inplaats van de zaak proffesioneel af te handelen, koos hij ervoor om ons volkomen te negeren. Toen mijn partner zijn stem verhief, omdat dit echt de druppel was, presteerde de manager het om te gaan schreeuwen. Getuigde van geen enkel proffesionalisme. In al die jaren nog nooit meegemaakt. Nooit maar dan nooit meer dit hotel. Bespaar uzelf de stress.
