Days Inn Paris - Pariisi

I asked the front desk clerk for a receipt and was told the hotel did not give receipts. The clerk was very rude and when forced to give me a receipt gave me a handwritten piece of paper with no information at all on it other than the fact I had stayed the night in the hotel. Additionally, I had requested a downstairs room and was told that 20 of the downstairs rooms had just been cleaned and would not be available for use. I had to take an upstairs room and this was a definite hardship. I would not recommend this hotel for my dog (if I had one) due to attitude of the staff.

Check in was easy and the clerk was friendly. This is a motel, not a hotel. The doors are on the outside and there is no convenient way to get to one end or the other. Only one stair case up the middle. The pool was dirty and no towels provided. The room only gave us 2 towels so we had to ask for extras before trekking up the two flights of stairs to our room. It was a non smoking room but it smelled of stale smoke or maybe it is just that old of a motel and needs to refaced. The air conditioner was very loud. The morning clerk was obnoxious. I had to repeat everything 4 times for him to understand me and then he acted like he was put out to answer. I won't stay there again, there are much newer and nicer ones in the area.

Our stay at Days Inn was very short but very nice. I was very impressed with the hotel. It was clean, comfortable and very nice. I was surprised when I checked out---it was less than I expected. I've stayed in more expensive rooms, but I feel Days Inn was the same quality as the more expensive rooms we've booked. Overall---a great room.
