Radisson SAS Hotel, Nice - Nizza

An excellent short break. The only problem we encountered is that we were not there long enough. Hotel staff very polite and helpful, rooms excellent . Rooftop pool and restaurant amazing views.

The Radisson is a lovely hotel, great room and service. Beware of the guide map as it is a good walk into the main part of town/old town. Generally pricy all round €18 for the 'exclusive' sun lounger at the pool on the roof which I thought should have been included. Nice beach area directly across from the hotel. Room service breakfast was really good.

After reading several reveiws on this hotel I was ready to cancel my booking, but I am glad I did not. If you require your hotel to be somewhere to sleep, rather than somewhere to live then this hotel is fine - albeit expensive as would be expected in Nice. The hotel is a brisk walk from the old town, but there are numerous public buses every hour from the street behind the hotel (1 Euro) and it takes about 10 minutes. Getting back at night after the public buses stop at about 9.30 pm requires the use of your legs. Did not use the expensive hotel pool. About 30 metres from the front door is a free 'pool' called the Mediteranean Sea and the beach there is free. There are numerous small shops and supermarkets very close by the hotel to avoid using the hotel breakfast and bars. If the hotels today gouge you on their internal prices then don't use the restaurants and bars.

I stayed at the Radisson for two nights only, but with a general good impression of the place, the staff and the cleanliness of the room and the hotel itself. I especially liked the rooftop where from there is a great view over Nice (especially night view) and I can warmly recommend the Mojito's :)

Good Hotel, maybe just a little too far out of the main town for the vacationer but suited us perfectly as we were attending the U2 concert in Nice. Everyone was friendly and attentive and the rooms were fine

This was the best hotel we stopped in over three weeks. The location was excellent, ideal for just strolling on the promenade or catching a bus into the old town of Nice. The restuarant was realy good as was the local dinning.

Everything about the hotel was great - the service, rooms, incredible balcony view of the mediterranean, and the food. Be careful, however: we had a club sandwich, a piece of grilled salmon, and 2 drinks for 73 euros! (about $110). Everything is extremely expensive there; the best thing to do is to buy your own beer/wine, and use their food and drinks sparingly. Also, topless women at the 7th floor pool/bar terrace, haha.

Hotel was fine -at least 30 min walk to centre - which we knew about b4 booking. Choose this hotel and paid more for it because it had a roof pool . Never used the pool as there was an €18 charge per day for use of sun lounger - I was not a bit impressed and refused to be ripped off. So with disgust over pool and €15 - €20 taxi fare every nite plus €22 for b/fast- we will not be returning to this hotel. It's a rip off!

This hotel is beautiful and our room had a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It is very convenient to the airport (Just a few blocks away) and conveniently located between Monaco and Cannes. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I recommend it highly.

Outstanding hotel with very courteous personel located in the promenade within the city center and the airport

This hotel was excellent. The service was brilliant. Location ideal for short stay as is only 5 mins from airport. view from room and rooftop terrace over sea fantastic.The only drawback is its very pricey. The food is very nice but costs. You also have to pay 18 euros to use the pool sunloungers which I feel should be included in your stay as you really must use the pool with waiter service! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay but spent a fortune.

The hotel was very comfortable, yet chic in its design. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We wished it had been closer to the center of Nice, but we discovered a great new place for dinner-St. Laurent du Var, which is the next town over. The concierge suggested it and it did not disappoint. We had a delicious and romantic dinner in the hotel dining room one night when the rain storm that night was relentless. Since it was Earth Hour, the dining room was completely candlelit and the food was wonderful. Our room faced the sea and, even through the rain, it was nice sitting on the balcony watching the sea. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The location is relatively quiet and away from the action in Cannes and Monte Carlo, but this is what we were looking for. THe staff is extremely attentive and the room had a nice view of the Mediterranean Sea. We have a nice balcony where we enjoyed evenings with a bottle of wine. The only small negative is that the king size bed was actually two smaller beds pushed together. This was rather uncomfortable as the beds separated during the night leaving a sizeable gap. Otherwise I would rate this hotel as excellent and would recommend it highly.

Hotel was excellent in all rspects - maybe a little pricey in bar and minibar (buy your own soft drinks and store them in fridge). The restaurant was expensive but the food was simply fabulous - as good as any I have eaten anywhere - definitely worth splashing out for a treat. The roof pool area had very comfortable sunbeds and very good service from the pool bar. The rooms were very comfortable and clean - difficult to find fault - I would definitely stay again.

A great place to stay.Lovely walks into the town of Nice along the promenade where you are not bothered by the locals.Not a cheap place to stay but very central for visits by train etc. to Antibes,Cannes and Monte Carlo.

For the price and quality of the room, it didn't meet my expectations of a 4 star rated hotel, however, on a very positive note, the service was excellent. The concierge service was exceptionally helpful and we were able to rent a car right onsite which was extremely convenient. The rooftop pool and bar/restaurant was nice, and the location was great. I would say my only complaint was the rate for the quality of the actual room, other than that, I would recommend it, just be prepared for that bill.

Had a wonderful stay and would recommedn this hotel to anyone. Great Location / Great Consigiere

The hotel is a very nice quality hotel on the very busy Promenade des Anglais, which is a six lane highway. The standards of cleanliness and service are high, the room was a good size and we had a sea view on the third floor. Even with tripple glazing the road noise clould be heard. Beware of the additional charges for use of the roof terrace pool, and beach beds (free beach next to hotel area). Approximately 1.5 km from town centre but regular bus service along the Promenade d-A. Also look at the Mercure and Hotel Suisse in Nice Centre.

I believe every business should try to make a profit but this hotel went overboard. Said they would charge to change a 100 euro note to five 20 euro notes. ( 5% ) A little over the top I would say. Wasn't much of a value. Had worst pillows of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Asked Head housekeeper if they had any others---said they had better ones on the top floors not for us.

Convenient hotel to the airport and the promenade. It is too far to walk to the old town neighborhood, but they do run a shuttle, and buses are nearby. Lower floors are noisy from street and traffic. The restaurant, bar and pool on the roof were great!

Rigtig lækkert hotel. Værelset var helt i top og tag terassen og udsigten utrolig flot. Dog er 18 Euro per liggestol ved poolen groft, når man bor på hotellet.

Dette hotellet anbefales på det varmeste. Rommet var strøkent med gode senger. Servicen upåklagelig og bassenget på toppen prikken over i-en. Hotellets beliggenhet er også veldig bra, du er på stranden i løpet av 20 sekunder.

Hotellet er pent og rent, personalet er passe serviceinnstilte. De opplyser ikke om at en solseng på deres private strand koster 18 euro pr pers pr dag... Ellers er prisnivået på hotellet generelt ganske dyrt

Bodde på dette hotellet perioden 3. til 13 August. Kjempefornøyd med hotellet! Det eneste minus er at det ligger litt utenfor selve sentrum i Nice. Men ikke for langt heller. Det var en dag det ikke var gjort så bra jobb på roomservice, da det sto igjen litt flasker og tomme glass. Men ellers supert. Tilogmed ryddet i toalettsakene som stod på badet. Bor gjerne her igjen!

Hotellet svarte til forventingene for et stort kjedehotell. Det var veldig konfortabelt, men det er ganske dyrt å spise der. Det ligger litt utenfor sentrum og det er ikke så mange kaféer i nærheten, i hvertfall ikke på en søndag.

Hotellet var meget bra og topp beliggenhet.Det som trekker ned var at de tok seg for meget betalt for faciliteter som normalt ikke betales for.Dette var solsenger ved basseng,shuttle til byen og trening.

Fra første dag blev vi modtaget med åbne arme smil og venlighed Udsigten udover havet skøn fra 5 sal Servicen ind imellem FOR STOR da diverse ydelser blev ydet af forskelligt personale opfyldning af kaffe og te rene håndklæder rengøring mv Men altid med smil og venllighed Gode p forhold som også blev klaret for en Morgenbuffet SUPER intet manglede og den VAR GOD

am wunderschönen boulvard direkt am meer gelgen. lauter gehts nimmer. bei geschlossenem balkon aber sehr ruhig. herrlicher blick übers meer. zu wenig plätze beim frühstück, ab 9 uhr werden die fehlenden speisen zt nicht mehr nachgefüllt. typische südfranzösische "freundlichkeit" des personals mit der üblichen dosis gleichgültigkeit.

Rumsstandard mycket bra, kompetent och tillmötesgående personal i reception och consierge. Takterrassens mat var dock en katastrof. De rätter vi åt var inte fräscha, för länge kokt, för hårt stekt, gamla råvaror. Erbjudna viner motsvarade alls inte vad gäster på ett hotell som detta ska kunna förvänta sig. Dessutom var serveringspersonalen mycket okunnig om vinerna och om vad köket hade att erbjuda. Frukostrestaurangen uppvisade liknande brister. Stora brister i buffén, svettiga ostar, torkade patéer, klumpig och torr scrambled eggs etc etc. Restaurationen på detta hotell har ett klart och tydligt managementproblem. Kan rekommendera hotellet att bo på, men ät frokust, lunch och middag nån annan stans i denna trevliga stad.

Flott hotell og fine, rene rom. Deilig at det ligger rett ved promenaden og stranda. Kort vei inn til byen, og busser, butikker og små caféer rett i nærheten. Det som trekker ned at man må betale ekstra for å benytte seg av hotellets fasiliter - og det var i tillegg svært dyrt. Må blant annet betale mye for å ligge på en solseng ved hotellets eget basseng på taket, og må også betale dyrt for å ta en kjapp økt på hotellets trimrom. Slik pleier å være gratis for gjester på andre lignende hoteller, men det var det ikke her.

SAS-hotellet i Nice er veldig bra, men avstanden til sentrum er lang. Det er også dyrt å kjøpe frokost og annet på hotellet. Men et bra hotell!

Radisson ligger en bit ifrån de mest centrala delarna av Nice så man får räkna med en och annan taxinota. Rummen med havsutsikt är fantastiska dock kan Promenade Anglais vara hyfsat trafikerad så man använder terrassen mindre än man skulle vilja. I övrigt är hotellet prydligt, effektivt och rummen är bekväma och praktiska att jobba i. Frullen för €22 är halvdyr men buffén är riktigt bra.

Mooie lay-out,ruime lobby,gastvrij balie personeel,zér goede service.Mooie(nieuwe)ruime kamers,met mooie kleuren schakeringen.Alles kraak helder en zeer goed onderhouden.Modern meubilair.Mooi ontbijt buffet,niet goedkoop,maar met erg veel mogelijkheden.Auto wordt valet geparkeerd.

Habitué au Meridien à Nice j'ai regretté l'éloignement du centre ville, l'ambiance en général moins chaleureuse; pour le reste rien à redire.

Bra hotel med bra standard men det som drar ner betyget är att hotellet tar betalt för att du som gäst använder poolen. Hela 17 Euro/vuxen dessutom (juli 2008). Lite väl närigt men kanske något man skall räkna med i Nice. Allt övrigt var utan anmärkning.

Härligt hotell, bra personal men uselt att som guld medlem hos SAS måsta betala för att bli uppgraderad

Enormer Straßenlärm beim Blick aufs Meer; bei offenenem Fenster/Balkon nicht lange zu ertragen. Pool im März ohne Wasser, Dachterrasse nicht geöffnet. Wellness-Bereich stark unterentwickelt, Sauna schon mit 3 Pers. überfüllt. Frühstück im Zimmerpreis nicht enthalten. Unter all diesen Vorauss. stark überteuert trotz herrlichen Blicks aufs Mittelmeer.
