Radisson Edwardian Berkshire Hotel - Lontoo

I stayed for one night, the room was comfortable and clean but relatively small. There were no tea of coffee making facilities but the bathroom did have basic toiletries such as shampoo and soap. For a hotel at the heart of London's West End (it's just opposite Bond Street tube station) outside noise was surprisingly low however much the same cannot be said for the inside as the fire alarm sounded in the very early hours. Would I stay again? 'Probably' but I'd want a larger room and some additional 'freebies'!

I booked and paid for a double room with twinbeds. Shortly after I received a confirmation on on my booking. When we got to the hotel they had no more room left with twin beds, so we got a room with a very small double bed. I told the receptionist that I was completely unacceptable for my colleague and me to share that small double bed. He only said that there was nothing he could do. I discussed the issue with him for 15 minutes but he would not help us. I told him that i wanted my money back so we could find another hotel, but he could not give me the mony, since I had paid for the room in advance, we booked the hotel room to have a place to sleep, but there was none of us at got any sleep at all. This I think is completely unacceptable.

Really good place to go and stay if you want to be based in central London for shopping, as it's on (or rather above) Oxford Street, half way between Selfridges and Oxford CFircus. Really handy for going in any direction, with Bond St, Regent St, Marlybone and Picadilly all easily walkable. The tube is right over the road for access to further afield. Hotel was very clean, the staff friendly and efficient. Rooms were great size (we had a king double) which had a generous double shower which my wife and I made use of after a hard day shopping. The extra bonus was if you were driving (it's inside the congestion charge zone), there is an NCP car park about 30 paces away from the hotel door, and the concierge will gove you a discount voucher bringing the daily charge from £34 down to £19.50 - very good pricing for central London parking given that I've paid a £60 daily rate before now....! The only slight negative was the rooms were very hot, and even with the A/C set on max at 14 degrees we were still very warm in the room.

I often use the Radisson as I have clients around the corner. I have breakfast there on a regular basis. It's been a while since I actually stayed over night and was a little dissapointed on this occaision. On arrival at 3pm we were told that they had been full the night before and our room wasn't ready for us to check in. They suggested a drink in the bar whilst we waited. I later found out that a service charge had been levied on the drinks resulting in a bill of £22 for one orange juice and a single G&T. At time of booking, I paid for an upgrade from a standard room but didn't believe what we got represented good value for money. The bed was incredibly comfortable but the room was awkwardly shaped with the TV positioned in a very strange place. The bathroom was tiny and consequently made getting ready a little uncomfortable. Breakfast was as good as always but the service was lacking. We had to ask for tea and coffee and a round of toast. All in all I wouldn't go back.

We stayed at the Radisson Berkshire for 2 nights in a deluxe room and were very impressed with the Hotel. The location was excellent, just accross the road from Bond street tube and great for shopping. We were also in walking distance of many bars, restaurants and the west end. The room was nicely presented, very spacious, clean and comfortable. All the staff that we met we found to be friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and would definately stay here again.

I booked a double room just for me and it was still quite small. However it was clean secure and comfortable. The bathroom was nice apart from being small. A bathrobe would have been greatly appreciated. Lack of staff on reception at some points. Location was perfect for shopping, I would stay there again.

Excellent hotel in an excellent location. Staff very professional and helpful. Would advise you to specify what type of breakfast you eat - big difference in prices!

Considering the costs in London, The Berkshire is a good value. Very clean, attentive staff and great location.

This hotel is superbly located for shopping on Oxford Street and Bond Street. As you might expect for central London the rooms were very small, but perfectly formed and clean. The only niggle was that your couldn't get any music or news withouth having to pay for it. But the excellent service made up for it.

The location of this hotel is great but I was very disappointed with the size of my room. I booked a single room, however, the first room I was in was by far the smallest hotel room I've ever seen. I paid GBP 30 for an upgrade to a double. It was bigger than the first but still extremely small. The service at the front desk was excellent, however, the service at the bar was very disappointing. The barman was quite unfriendly and unhelpful.

the only negative thing about the stay was regarding the breakfast. The first morning the qeue was so long that we gave up. And the next day we where dissapointed about the breakfast compared to the "nice price" of 16,5 £. Otherwise there where nothing else that we were not satisfied with. And would certainly stay there again. Central, nice, cousy and very good service.

It's hard to find a decent hotel in London without spending a fortune, but this comes as close as I've found. Rooms aren't big but they are comfortable and stylishly decorated. Some rooms face Oxford Street, which can be quite noisy so be careful in your room requests.

Comfy clean space for relatively little in posh Mayfair. It's a small boutique, so don't expect 5 star restaurants, pools or fitness centers. Climate controls, opening windows, wireless Internet and a business center, with convenient access to public transportation make this a perfect hotel for a short business stay. The bathrooms are gorgeous, well organized, and clean. My only complaint - not enough electrical outlets. I had nowhere to plug in anything near the bed, and the desk only had two slots, one UK and one US (another UK slot was broken.)

Great location, quality hotel, clean, professional staff, medium to small sized rooms, have stayed here several times, one of our favorites.

Mor og datter (15) på langweekendtur til London før jul, der shopping var en viktig ingrediens. Hotellet ble plukket ut på bakgrunn av beliggenheten og tilbakemeldinger fra tidligere gjester, og vi ble ikke skuffet. Topp beliggenhet midt i shoppingdistriktet på Oxford street, uten at vi ble plaget av støy, metrostasjon like ved. 3 døgn med bare hyggelig betjening, rent og pent, luksus iflg. 15-åringen. Frokosten prøvde vi ikke, den var dyr, men Starbucks like i nærheten var midt i blinken for oss. Vi kommer gjerne igjen!

Hotellet er greit beliggende hvis man ønsker å ta en week-end tur til London for å handle. Hotellet er ikke billig, men gir god service.
