Hotel West End Best Western Premier - Nizza

Room on 5th floor, very small, damp stain on wall, bathroom in need of a revamp worn beige suite from the 80's, cracked sink, broken marble with ground in dirt around sink, no shower cutain resulting in water everywhere in bathroom, mirrors had damp stains on them. Front facade very impressive, but rooms were tired and worn, very much in need of some modernisation.

One of the lifts was not working. Air conditioning was also not working and breakfast was not included in the price. Not impressed

Even though the Hotel was a little on the expensive side, it was well worth it. It is in need of a lick of paint in places. We thought the hotel came with a beach, but we were shocked to find that as guests we had to pay seventeen euros, public pay twenty four euros, however the next hotel beach cost just ten euro, figure that one out

The location of the hotel cannot be beaten. Its on the centre of the promenade and is only a 10 minute bus ride from the hotel. Looks over the bay. The hotel itself is clean and its decor has old fashioned decor. The bedroom itslef is smallish but sufficient. Has all mod cons. Only grievances were the tv did not work and no shower curtain. Breakfast was great and catered for all tastes. All in all a very enjoyable stay and would recommend it to everyone bar people that are over fussy.

This hotel is very well located with views out over the sea. The facade gives an initial impression that this really is a 4 star hotel. The interior immediately turns it into a 2-3 star hotel. It is painfully evident that the owners have not re-decorated it for 20 years and have decided to use the location as their selling point...and in their rates. Our room was no better than 2-3 star hotels that I've stayed in near airports. The air conditioning was broken and leaking water onto the floor, although they did fix it. The build up of water from this leak meant the room stank of damp and we had to leave the windows open at all time...not great when you look at the 6 lanes of traffic below. The walls, carpet, paint etc are in desperate need of re-decoration. The bathroom was quite simply awful. Early 1980's brown interior and even the marble was fading, chipped away around the sink. The worst really was the shower / bath. It's a small bath so too small to use for this function. The shower head had no attachement on the wall so you had to hold it to shower yourself. There was no shower curtain and so the whole bathroom got soaked. In conclusion, I wouldn't go near this hotel again. Save yourself the money and stay in a genuine 2-3 star hotel or spend a bit more and try to find a real 5 star one.

This old hotel is in bad need of refurbishing. The carpet & paint appear to be original. The best thing the hotel has going for it is its central location on the Promenade des Anglais, directly across from the beach. But that's about it. For the price, it is not a good deal at all. Most of the staff were very pleasant and eager to help but it is definitely NOT a four-star hotel.

The location was excellent on the Promenade de Angles, the beach was right across the street and Promenade de France a short walk away. The public areas were well appointed. We had booked a room with 3 twin beds, and received a room with double and twin, another cot was squeezed in, but we had to move it to open closet and get to other side of room. The carpet had not been cleaned in ages, if ever. Directions to get to several places were not correct.

Hotellet ligger brevid Negresco och stranden, vilket var det enda positiva. Ogästvänlig personal, hela hotellet gav ett ofräscht intryck. Smutsigt rum med trasig luftkonditonering som jag rapporterade till receptionen utan resultat. Nästa gång väljer jag ett annat hotell

Beliggenhet topp, hotellet litt slitt.

Det manglet noe alltid til frokost. Når juicen endelig kom, var det ikke glass. Brød, egg, pålegg kunne det ta opp til 10 minutter å få. Duene ryddet bordet, gjestene måtte dekke selv. Personalet var overhodet ikke trenet. Det er helt uakseptabelt å ta betalt euro 19.40 for en frokost som er helt uten styring og mangel på mat. Dessuten var restauranten så liten at gjestene måtte vente til det verste kaoset hadde lagt seg.

nn è vero che la camere hanno un brutto odore che siano piccole con quello che paghi invece si e allo stesso tempo devi pagare tutto dal paecheggio alla spiaggia ecc.....

Et pragtfuldt hotel. Beliggenheden er fantastisk og hotellet flot og med en god service. Det er alle pengene værd at betale ekstra for balkon med udsigt over Promenade des Anglais til Middelhavet.

Litet trångt rum, undermålig dubbelsäng, sliten och kort. Ett hotell som vill kalla sig förstklassigt och därtill tar betalt som ett sådant kan inte hålla den låga standard som vi här stötte på.

Havde bestilt 2 værelser med havudsigt. Fik kun 1 fordi der var problemer med air cond anlæg. Imidlertid også problem i det værelse til bagsiden som vi fik og her kunne vi ikke åbne vindue da aircond anlæg på bagsiden larmede. Vi fik 2 margenmad som kompensation, værdi 40 euro, men forskel havudsigt/ikke havudsigt er dyrere. Desuden er hotel ikke 4 sternet standard.

Resepsjon og concierge var meget bra. Rommet derimot var slitent. Møkkete teppe, dør som subbet golvet (!), og rengjøringspersonell som var svært sparsommelige med noe så basic som toalettpapir og håndklær (å dele på håndklær går jo fint, men det er vel ikke det man har betalt for...).

excellent rapport qualité prix pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. Chambre agréable, très propre. Le seul petit regret : le petit déjeuner for cher, n'est pas servi après 10h30, et le personnel du buffet n'est pas très .... serviable

Moquette e camera maleodorante

L'hotel et son emplacement est absolument parfait, mais le petit déjeuner est trop cher pour ce qu'il est.

Har bott där många gånger , men blir bara sämre , tråkig personal, slöa , ingenting för hotellverksamhet.

Klassisk decadent hotel ud til promenaden i Nice. Hotellet er lidt slidt, men også charmerende. Kan godt anbefales.

Seuls sont à remettre en cause la propreté générale de l'hôtel (couloirs ou escaliers) et de la chambre (notamment de la salle de bain, au sol et aux murs tachés) et l'état parfois à la limite du "délabrement" (moquettes usées, meubles cassés, climatisation en panne, portes ne fermant pas).

Skønt hotel med suveræn beliggenhed. Høflighed og venlighed i focus. Nice - Provence en egn man ikke kan få nok af. Ren lise for sjælen!

wir erhielten das zimmer mit der nr. 100 (blos nicht wieder, das war ehemals eine abstellkammer, fenster zu einem dunklen innenhof mit klimagerät auf dem dach, dunkel, klein und laut! auf die beschwerde hin erhielten wir als upgrate das zi. nr. 120 das sehr schön war (zum park hin gelegen) jedoch liegt das hotle direkt am strand, somit hat es wieder ein punkt gutgemacht, aber recht teuer für das was geboten wird........
