Hotel Linna - Helsinki

Nice hotel. A step further from the main railway station than some, but within walking distance. Hotel has character.

We were visiting family and friends in Helsinki, and so it was perfect. Easily accessible to downtown attractions, and also very close to the gay bars downtown. Breakfast was great, downstairs in the a little decorated cellar area. The only thing I wish would have been on the menu was a little more Finnish cooking: korvapuuti (cinnamon rolls) and karjalanpirakka (rye, rice cakes served with egg butter). Would plan to stay there again.

I was interested in staying at the hotel, as i had seen it featured on a T V programme by Jonathan Meades, " The Magnetic North". There was a feeling that the Hotel had recently been taken over by the Palace Kammp group and that there was work to be done to bring it up to their standard.Breakfasts did not have the selection I have previously had in a top Helsinki hotel. In room information was very limited. Perhaps for some people the Hotel may have too much off the beaten track. It was a good walk from the centre.

The Linna is a nice small hotel. The street front view of the hotel is a very old castle type structure, very old, very nice looking. The rooms, however are through a corridor to a building in the back which is not the same structure. Rooms are small but comfortable. They are not in the castle, that is the conference center.

Very good service and excellent breakfast in charmy location. Only negative issue is Internet is extra, but affordable. Close to Helsinki center and infrastructure.

Stupid price for Wlan. 12 euro for 24 hour. Only one PC placed in the lobby. Always in use and demage. A lot of bars in Helsinki have free Wlan.

Se non si hanno esigenze particolari sulle strutture (quali ad esempio piscina, palestra ecc) troviamo un hotel caratteristico, con poche camere, colazione scandinava ed all'americana ma comunque di qualità e chiaramente siamo in centro.

Litt sliten rom med fliser som hadde løsnet på gulvet i badet som også manglet varmekabler. Hyggelig forkost lokale i kjeller.

Hotellet ligger like ved Unnermaankatu som har mange små butikker med finsk design samt gode spisesteder. Forøvrig er det fin gåavstand til det meste, museum og shoppingsenter! Avslappende og koselig hotell i fin bygning!

Clean, quiet, nice but without free internet on the room.

Accueil cordiale, chambre très propre, petit déjeuner buffet complet (surtout une machine à expresso !), et parmi d'autres le sauna privé (avec 18 euros de plus) spatieux.

Veldig rolig hotell med mye stearinlys og koselig atmosfære. En liten avslappende frokostsal, med mye fine lys.

Hotel pas mal mais le côté historique n'apparait qu'à la réception. Buffet du petit déjeuner renouvelé avec lenteur!

für Gäste die Samstags/Sonntags das Hotel früh verlassen(0730lt) gibt es kein Frühstück. es wird auch kein Minifrühstück oder take away Frühstück angeboten.

Hotel au coeur de la ville, à la décoration soigné, très propre, très calme. Parfait pour un week-end.

lage ist wichtig da kein öffentliches verkehrsmittel nötig mitarbeiter sehr nett und hilfsbereit hotelzimmer und frühstück bestens

Très bien situé, central mais calme, cet hôtel à la décoration très rafinée offre un excellent confort. Le service est irréprochable, la propreté exemplaire.
