Timhotel Gare du Nord - Pariisi

The hotel was a little out of the way. By public transportation, it was twenty five to thirty minutes from most attractions, even Eiffel Tower. It was located in more of a residential area, with hardly any restaurants nearby. The room was pretty small too. A positive is that the room did have air conditioning and the bed was comfortable.

If you are on an extremely tight budget, I'd say this hotel would be acceptable. It's one redeeming factor was it's location close to one metro. The hotel staff was slow, the rooms tiny (even by Paris standards), the bathroom was falling apart and covered in mold. There was also a part of the wall that someone had obviously kicked in that had not been repaired. The hotel/rooms are not air conditioned, but you cannot leave the windows open because there are very loud, screeching trains that come by frequently and at all hours of the night. My friend and I also woke up covered in bug bites. There are very few good things I can say about this visit.

Hotel is just a few blocks from Nord train stain. That's pretty handy. Our room was pretty tiny and a bit noisy facing the road. Staff wasn't thrilled to be helping us, but we didn't expect 5 star. If I could do it again I'd probably want more value for my money, but it worked and we didn't have any huge complaints. Location is good, and that helps.

Good location (only 5 mins away from Gare du Nord station). Room was clean, staff were polite and helpful. Overall very good value for money and would recommend to anyone.

Room way too hot when arrived, but at least could throw open windows and turn off heater. Smells a little fusty but not too bad. Adequate when cheap and when one has a short night to kill between trains - very close to both stations.

The hotel is perfectly clean and looks very attractive from the pavement. The staff were efficient and friendly and fortunately spoke perfect English which was a relief after using dodgy French for 4 days! The room itself was small but had a surprisingly powerful shower. The only drawback was the fact it was situated by a train track which wasn't the most stunning view in Paris though the windows kept most of the noise out. It was situated near a metro station and not at all far from Gard Du Nord Station. Overall a perfectly satisfactory stay.

This is a horrible hotel. The staff are completely apathetic and incompetent. The room bathroom smelled like a dirty locker and it was also in the worst neighborhood ever. I felt unsafe both security-wise and also hygenically. I would not recommend this to anyone.

The hotel was undergoing construction, so I believe that affected the quality of some of the rooms. I had a single room and the shower was VERY small. The toilet didn't have a toilet seat, which was strange and I wasn't sure if that was a French thing or what. The room was relatively clean and the hotel is in a great location -- somewhat tucked away from the craziness, but walking distance to a lot of things. The breakfast downstairs for E8.50 was decent and convenient. I would recommend this place as a no frills accommodation spot. The service at the desk was quite friendly and helpful, and that made all the difference during my stay.

Value for money, not luxury not bad, central and very close to the big railway station, easy to fast go everywhere. Not luxury and standard below avarage but ok for just sleeping to a good price!

God almindelig hotel med det nødvendige.

Tim hotel Gare Du Nord ligger veldig nært sentralstasjonen i Paris (ca 5min å gå). Dette var veldig deilig for oss da vi kom til Paris med tog. Standarden på rommet var veldig grei om man ikke er så kravstor, det var rent, noe som er det viktigste for oss. Selv om man kanskje ikke ankommer Paris med tog kan det være et pluss å bo i nærheten av Gare Du Nord da det er veldig mange metro baner som går hit.

Das Zimmer war eine Katastrophe, vor allem das Badezimmer. W§ir haben ein Doppelzimmer gebucht, allerdings ein Zweibettzimmer bekommen. Das Licht im Zimmer hat die letzten beiden Tage gar nicht mehr funktioniert. Die Badewanne war so verdreckt und schimmelig, so dass wir nur mit Badeschlappen geduscht haben. Auch im Hotelzimmer selbst haben wir uns nicht getraut barfuß zu gehen. Die Lage des Hotels war ok., auch wenn wir es zunächst gar nicht gefunden haben, da die Rue Phillippe de Girard doch ziemlich lang ist und sich ein wenig biegt.Betten wurden täglich gemacht. Im Hotel sprach niemand Englisch, was auch negativ zu bewerten ist. Fazit: Das Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen. Wir reisen viel, und das war mit Abstand das schlechteste Hotel.

einfaches Hotel mit kleinen sauberen Zimmern und bequemem Bett, ideal für Städtereisen bei denen das Hotel lediglich zur Übernachtung genutzt wird, zu Fuß sehr bequem vom Gare de l'Est und Gare du Nord zu erreichen (<10 min)

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, waren aber auch nur 3 tage da! Wir hatten für wenig Geld ein sehr gutes Zimmer. Sehr zu empfehlen für Kurztrips!
