Tryp Urdanibia - Irun

Great hotel but very hard to find. Staff was attentive and gave great advice about the Pyranees. On site parking is great since it's hard to park in the towns. Is close to the Autopista to France.

This hotel is quite nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. Food is good as well. I would primarily recommend this to travelers who have their own car, as there is parking. We got a rental car the day after we arrived. We arrived by bus from San Sebastian. The stop for Tryp Urdanibia is literally a gas station. There are no signs or seats or anything to indicate there is a bus stop there; you just have to know it. Of course, we did not know that, so we rode the bus into the city center of Irun, then took a taxi to the hotel. The buses are also infrequent. I had to wait (standing at that gas station) for 40 minutes before a bus arrived, when I tried to head into Irun later in the day. Once we got our rental car however, everything was smooth sailing.

Only down side was hotel was hard to find after dark, since in trees right off of major highway. Concierge was great, helped us to arrive with phone directions. Very pleased with room and overall appearance of hotel.

Uitstekend hotel voor mensen die op doorreis zijn. Makkelijk te bereiken vlak bij de uitvals wegen. Service was prima en het personeel voorkomend en vriendelijk. kamer was netjes en schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien.

Hotel a pochi Km da San Sebastian e a pochi Km dal confine francese, ideale per visitare la zona senza essere coinvolti dal traffico della città. Segnalazioni un po' scarse per arrivarci. personale gentile, colazione discreta, stanze abbastanza accoglienti e pulite, bagni efficienti. Parcheggio dell'hotel molto capiente.
