Residence Deira By Le Meridien - Dubai

Good location. Near to Union Square where Metro is located. Poor maintenance- kitchen sink leaks. Bottled water only supplied on first day. Cannot see name of Hotel from main road. The hotel should put up a sign so that visitors can see sign when they are Al Maktoum Rd. Even locals have a hard time locating it. It is opposite the Radisson Hotel.

Very simple room with two twin beds, small sofa and kichenette with coffee supplies etc. Room is very basic but clean. We would have preferred two queen beds, but they did not have any (is what I was told). The lady at the front desk was nice answering my questions about Dubai sightseeing, but was trying to sell some tours. For me, big negatives are - no swimming pool and the location (you need taxi ride to get to any attraction; too few restaurant options nearby).

This is the third time I've gone to Dubai in the past year, and I've always stayed in a four star or above hotel. This trip was on a budget so when I found this appartment I thought I'd give it a shot. I was very impressed, for a two star appartment it felt like a four star, clean rooms and sheets, helpful staff and a good location. There's a petrol station across the road that is open 24 hours, so you can ge everything you want from there. There is also an internet cafe that is open till 3am just a few hundred yards away. All I can say is that I will definately go back their again.

This hotel was comfortable. Only negative is that it did not provide any way to connect to the internet in the room or via wireless in the lobby. That would be a major improvement for this property.

This hotel is clean , comfortable and cool! The staff are very kind and helpful. It is also conveniently situated being a short walking distance from the Creek. There are several restaurants close by. We would stay there again if we are lucky enough to visit Dubai on a future holiday!

A great hotel. We stayed in the cheapest room available here and it was huge. All rooms are apartment style so they have small kitchens, although they are not equipped very well with kitchen accessories. Not a problem since there are tons of cheap places to eat in Dubai. It was convenient to have the refrigerator in the room so that we could buy drinks and keep them cold. There is a grocery store a couple of blocks away so it was easy to buy snacks and drinks. The room itself was nice and clean and of a pretty modern style. The bed was very comfortable and we had a decent view from our windows. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is clean, safe, and good bet for those looking for a mid-range hotel, and this one specifically is a good value. The service was excellent and anything we needed was attended to by the staff, including any questions about tours, etc. The best thing about the hotel was definitely the location. It is in Deira, one of the older neighborhoods of Dubai, within walking distance of the Gold and Spice Souks. It is one block from Dubai Creek, and about a 10 min walk from the abra station. The abras are small boats which take you across the creek to Bur Dubai for 1 dirham. Once across, you are in the middle of another souk area and can easily walk to all of the sights in Bur Dubai including all of the museums, heritage village, etc. You will need to take a taxi to get from the hotel to the fancier attractions such as the Burj al Arab or Mall of the Emirates, but this is true of most hotels in Dubai since those attractions are located pretty far away from the center of the city and the only hotels near those are resort style.

this is a very decent, neat and clean hotel if you are just looking for a place to sleep for the night.. very friendly staff, no breakfast, swimming pool, etc. free fruit basket, 2 small bottles of water and indoor slippers on arrival, daily newspaper, 24-7 front desk, some rooms have iron and stand, available on request in other rooms.. full kitchen with basic utensils and small refrigerator included.. internet access is available only in the lobby and is more expensive than usual, but there're a bunch of internet cafe's (i guess the general rate is 10 dirhams per hour) just 1 mins down the road in the adjacent complex that also houses the super cheap still tasty, open until 3AM Indian restaurant - Ravi's 10-15 min walking distance to the souks and the abra station.. by taxi, 20-30 dirhams from the airport.. ~50 dirhams to the wafi mall.. ~100 dirhams to the ibn battuta mall on the outskirts of dubai.. ~50-60 dirhams from the madinat jumeira front desk will call in a cab at 15-20 mins notice, but taxis are available more easily from the radisson sas across the street..

Very good central location. Within 2minutes of the creek area. Efficient shuttle service offered to and from the airport at a reasonable cost.Spacious studio with kitchen area with limited utensils.

This residence is located in Old Dubai, only about 10 minutes to the airport. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a one bedroom unit from a studio. It was very large and very comfortable. It is excellent value if you do not require ammenities although there is a free shuttle to the hotel Le Meridien if you would like a pool and restaurants. I will definitely reccomend to all friends traveling to Dubai.

Over in UAE addresses don't really mean anything so we had some problems trying to find the hotel the taxi driver had to ring his office so they could direct him. Like other reviews to pick up taxis and for drop offs it was easy to pick them off the main street and get drop off at Radisson SAS hotel across from us. The apartment was what we had expected and did the job for the 5 nights we had. They do need a toaster, oven gloves and a tea towel would make it better. Staff were friendly but the reception didn't have that much tourist information.

This was our second visit to Dubai. The accommodation was very tidy, roomy and comfortable. It had all the important basic facilities and they were ALL functioning. The staff was curtious and helpful. We wanted to do a lot of shopping and we found this location ideal for us as whatever we needed to shop, was not very far from the place of our stay.

This is a great inexpensive hotel in walking distance to the Souks. The room is large and spacious. For the price and the size of the room, I highly recommend it. The staff is very friendly and most helpful. I would return to this Hotel again.

Réservation par Internet; j'étais attendu et tout était prêt. Trés clean, vaste, confortable, bien situé.

Un personnel efficace et très serviable, une chambre d'une grande qualité pour le prix, avec de nombreuses prestations (journaux quotidiennement, respect des horaires, service internet à l'acceuil, service voiturier , je garderais un tres bon souvenir de cet hotel. Et un grand merci a son personnel. (room 407)

Grosse Appartments mit Küche, zentrale Lage, Ruhig weil das Haus keine Nightclubs hat, nur für Selbstversorger da auch kein Restaurant, Empfang freundlich und hilfsbereit. Möbelierung etwas abgenutzt, gemessen am Preis aber akzeptabel. Tipp: tagsüber können kostenlos die Ausseneinrichtungen des Le Meridien Hotels benutzt werden (Shuttle)

Utmärkt läge i stadsdelen Deira, nära Dubai Creek! Lägenhetshotell som räknas som 2Stjärnigt, men är som 4. Personalen är 5-stjärnig. ALLTID trevliga och hjälpsamma! Stor köksdel.Både bra restauranger och supermarket finns nära , öppet 24 hrs. Många olika affärer på gångavstånd.

App. f. Selbstverpflegung u. OHNE Entertainment. Daher ruhige (u. mit 50 qm sehr grosse) Zimmer. In den Wohnraum integr. Kueche mit kpl. techn. Ausstattung (Holz und schwarzer Granit), auch Buegelbrett/-eisen vorh. Separater Schlafraum mit davon abgehendem Bad (Waschtisch, Badewanne, WC), zus. 2. WC-Raum. Gr. frz. Bett mit deutschen 2 Riesenkissen und zus. 2 frz. Halbformatkissen. Also fuer jeden etwas... Frisches Obst auf dem Esstisch. Airport-Shuttle ist nicht kostenlos, sondern kostet 50 Diram = 10 Euro/Richtung. Sollte man investieren, erspart jegliches Taxiproblem. Der Le Meridien/Counter fuer den Airport-Shuttle ist direkt in der Ankunftshalle des Terminal 1 nach Verlassen der Zollkontrollen leicht zu finden. Von dort kann der Shuttle auch organisiert werden, wenn man ihn nicht telefonisch vorausgebucht hat. Entweder Kleinbus oder Limousine - modern und klimatisiert. Faehrt entweder nach Bedarf oder fest alle Stunde alle Le Meridien/Hotels an.

Das Hotel bietet Komfort an. Es ist ganz in der Nähe vom Deira Zentrum und ich kann andere Reisenden nur sagen Ja! Das Hotel ist supa.

Un pò più di pulizia lo renderebbe raccomandabile. Fodere dei divani sporche, pareti non proprio candide, peccato! Personale molto gentile.
