L'Esterel - Cannes

GOOD - The hotel is situated in a great spot, opposite the station and a 2-3 minutes walk to the beach. This side of town has most places to eat and drink so location covers everything. I was not really impressed with the room though, an IBIS it is not which I usually stay on small breaks. The carpet was dirty, and the bed cover (which goes over the clean sheets) has not been washed in ages. All this aside if you are just using the shower and bed for the night then its perfect. One more bad thing is the noise from all the rooms up, down and next door..... !!!

This hotel was right arcross from the train station. Great location. Many restaurants right outside. In the middle of shopping, restaurant and bar area. 2 blocks away from the hotel. It was ok. Not the best. It was definately way to pricey for what it was. Small room. Tiny bathroom. Could definatelly use remodeling. But if you only care about a private shower and a bed it's fine. If you can spend a little more do it. But if not it's Fine because you can find so much to do in the area.

Good value for money, small rooms but bathroom and bed very clean. Opposite train station and taxi rank, very direct access to great shopping and beach. Would stay there again.

This was a good value hotel and grand for the price. It was very close to the bus stop and train station which was great as we were not driving. The hotel was within walking distance of the shops, beach and restaurants

The hotel is right in front of the major train station and a bus terminal is right next to the train station. It can't be more convenient than this location. Moreover, it is realy quiet. No noise was heard. Besides, the hotel also provides FREE Wi-Fi internet access. The price hotels.com offered was reasonable.

It's the third time I go to this hotel. It's in a very handy location just in front of the rail station, but this time we were a bit disappointed because we have been given a room that was very very small, much smaller than the rooms we got in the past years. Ok for our weekend, but not for a longer stay!

As a business traveler, this hotel was very good value as it was so cheap, especially compared to what you could pay elsewhere in Cannes. If you like 'no frills' accommodation then this is for you. The room was quite small and had few extras; bring your own shampoo and shower gel and there's no kettle/tea/coffee. The TV was small and perched on top of the wardrobe, and there was also a small in-room safe.

The first impression of this hotel isn't great as you walk in through the door, but as a budget base its fine. Modern bright rooms, good breakfast spot. Also being on the better side of the N7 it is close to the shops, bars and restaurants and only two short streets away from the great beach, we were happy here.

This hotel was a good value for the money. It's best trait is its location. It is across the street from the train station, and walking distance to the beaches and shopping. During our stay, we encountered 3 different front desk staff. One was very friendly and one was very unfriendly and not very helpful. The other was the night person. When we arrived back to our room at midnight, he was nowhere to be found. After ringing the night bell for a few minutes, he surfaced - very disheveled and immediately upon letting us in, he ran into the the W.C. The room was very small (like many European rooms)and the shower was like being in a phone booth. Regardless, the room was clean. We had a car - I do NOT recommend having a car in Cannes. The streets were very narrow and crowded. The hotel provides a small discount to a parking garage a couple of blocks away but it cost us $24 a day.

hotel con ottimo rapporto qualità /prezzo,comodo anche arrivare alle vie centrali a piedi ,c'è solo da considerare che bisogna agguingere una ventina di euro al giorno di parcheggio (peraltro però vicinissimo ,100mt.)

Si le trajet jusque Nice se fait en TGV, cet hôtel est idéal comme il est à quelques pas de la gare en plein centre ville donc localisation très pratique. Le seul inconvénient de l'hôtel est l'absence de parking. Comme il est quasi impossible de trouver une place gratuite quand on ne connaît pas la ville, nous avons payé cher le parking de la gare. Le petit déjeuner sur le toit avec vue sur Cannes est très agréable, surtout quand il fait beau mais doit l'être également par temps de pluie. Nous avions réservé une chambre confort qui veut dire 3 lits simples et non une chambre plus grande. Personnel très agréable. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Double vitrage fonctionne bien comme nous étions sur une rue qui pouvait être bruyante.

Hotellet ligger fantastisk til - rett i nærheten av togstasjonen, men ikke slik at det blir noe støy. Shopping og strandpromenaden er også bare et steinkast unna. Betjeningen var vennlig, og rommene var rene og bra til å være et 2 stjerners hotell. MEN et minus på vårt rom var mugg på veggen - noe som førte til litt lukt i rommet. Jeg vil ikke anbefale dette hotellet til noen som tenker på å bruke mye tid på rommet – men for de som bare trenger et sted å sove mens de nyter livet i Cannes så er dette et ypperlig hotell.

Bel hôtel super le petit déjeuner en terrasse vu sur la mer, les toits et le vieux cannes. 8€, un peu cher pour ce qui est proposé, maintenant nous sommes à Cannes... Bel endroit!

Mindre rum men ok standard. Rent och städat. Nära till stranden, butiker och tågstationen. Standard frukost med fin utsikt på takterass. Rekomenderas för den som vill bo bra centralt men inte kräver det lilla extra.

Kommer gjerne tilbake. Rent og pent. Sentralt og billig.

Pyttesmå rum, och en ganska otrevlig portier. Annars rent och snyggt överallt och helt ok frukost.

Le seul petit problème est le parking si vous venez en voiture.Vous êtes obligé(e) d'utiliser les parkings privés de Cannes qui sont proposés à des prix exorbitants.

God beliggenhet og for kun å ha et rom for natten er det helt ok.. Litt slitt, men rent.

L'albergo offre un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, si trova vicino alla stazione comodo per girare a Cannes. Le camere sono essenziali e pulite. Unico incoveniente avuto: un giorno non è stata rifatta la camera

Upptäckte lite för sent att vi tilldelats fel rum, fick frukost som ersättning. Dock tog croissanter och kaffe slut redan kl 9 på söndag morgon, inte kul. Frukostrummet har dock en fantastisk utsikt, väl värt ett besök. Trots allt bodde i mycket billigt och nära till allt.

L'Hotel est très correct et en plus super pratique puisqu'il est en face de la gare ! Le seul bémol est la qualité du petit déjeuner.... pour 8 € on attend au moins du pain frais ! ! !

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, personale gentile, posizione davvero centrale e comoda per iniziare a passeggiare per Cannes, vicina la Croisette, nella zona più frequentata della città. Ottimo

Hotellet ligger perfekt lige midt i Cannes, tæt på gode restauranter, butikker og stranden. Værelserne er ikke store og meget ordinære, men det er rent og pænt, hvis man vil have et godt hotel til prisen med en fantastisk beliggenhed.

Ideales Stadthotel wenn man nur kurz in Cannes bleiben möchte, direkt im Zentrum alle Seheswürdigkeiten sind in wenigen Gehminuten erreicht, Parkhaus in unmittelbarer Nähe, kleine nette Frühstücksdachterasse mit wunderschönen Ausblick auf Hafen und Altstadt, die Zimmer sind klein aber zweckmäßig und sauber, das Personal ist sehr freundlich

Antar att det var handikappanpassat eftersom badrummet var gigantiskt. Tyvärr hade golvet fel golvlutning varför vattnet rann ut i rummet när man duschade (saknades duschdraperi) Våra vänner som också hade bokat i samma bokning fick dock ett VÄSENTLIGT mindre rum som var ganska trångt. Spartanskt inrett men i övrigt inget att anmärka. Bra frukostbuffé för att vara i Frankrike för ?8 per/person (varm dryck, juice, flingor/mjölk, baguette, croissant, yoghurt, honung, marmelad, kaka)

L'Esterel är ett väldigt trevligt hotell som ligger mycket bra till i Cannes, inte nere vid stranden med de flashiga hotellen, men ändå mycket centralt och precis vid tågstationen. Rent och snyggt och härlig AC.

La situation dans la ville est bonne, le reste mérite amélioration; l'accueil est froid et les informations imprécises, la propreté laisse à désirer, le confort plus que moyen (matelas vieillissants, couvertures irritantes). L'hotel de dispose pas de parking, dépense en sus à prévoir car tous les parkings avoisinants sont payants (30euros/ journée en moyenne).

trevlig personal, bra pris och mycket centralt

Både reception og værelser var præget af lugtgener. Der lugtede virkelig dårligt. Værelserne var nogenlunde, men der virkede beskidt på tæpperne. Hotellets største pluds er tagterrassen, hvor man kan spise en simpel morgenmad.

J'ai séjourné avec mon amie pendant un week-end dans cet hôtel. L' accueil est assez sympathique. Le cadre est correct. Nous n'avons pas petit déjeuné à l'hôtel car nous avons préféré aller le prendre sur le port de cannes accessible a cinq minutes a pied. LA chambre est confortable et la salle de bain est pratique. Rien à redire sur ce séjour. C'est un bon hotel pour une escapade de week-end. Seul bémol les gels douches offerts dans la salle de bain le sont en trop petite quantité.

Excellent accueil dans un hôtel bien situé. Des travaux nocturnes exceptionnels dans la rue pour le Festival de Cannes nous ont empêché de dormir une nuit mais on nous a changé de chambre dès le lendemain et offert les petits déjeuners de l'ensemble du séjour.

Prix correct hors saison, bien placé, face à la gare et proche de tout commerce, dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de parking. a recommander hors saison

Rien a dire si ce n'est que j'y retourne dans 2 mois et que le prix de la chambre est vraiment pas chère pour CANNES.
