*the rooms were clean *every hour there was a receptıonıst but; *check ın wasn't before 2 o2clock ın the afternoon!!!!! you can not have a rest before vısıtıng the cıty *metro statıon was very close to the hotel , but you wıll have to change the metro lıne more than 3 times to reach the centre of Parıs.

About 3 blocks walk to metro station and about 20 to 30 minutes to get downtown on metro. Very nice area. A handful of resteraunts in the area and a nice grocery store 3 blocks down by the metro station which is very nice if you are planning on using kitchenette. Not the cleanest or best furnishings but it worked for me. There was no oven in Kitchenette but a 4 burner stove and microwave. Internet did not work in the room, only in lobby which was inconvenient.

Pros: The kitchen really was a plus if you were planning to cook while during your stay in Paris. It was equipped with pots, pans, and a mini-fridge. This was the selling factor for us. Cons: I'll start with the least bad to the worst. You probably already know that the hotel is right next to an old cemetery. If you don't like that then it's not for you. Next, the room was tiny even compared to European standards. The double bed consumed the entire room! Even being a small woman of 100 lb., I had a hard time squeezing my legs through to get onto the bed or getting access to the closet. Forget where I can store my luggage. I put mine in the kitchen. The second worst is that the location is really, really difficult to find. We got lost for one hour trying to find this place because there is a Rue de Paris in Paris and a Rue de Paris in Charenton! Please do not mix up the two! If you do this, you will accidently take another line instead of the 8th (light purple) line, and you will take at least one hour to backtrack. Also, it's accurate as other reviews wrote, it will take about 30-45 mins to get to downtown Paris to the monuments. Finally, the worst is that the room smelled unimaginatively bad and was moist and disgusting. The reason was the shower was built inside of the bathroom and the shower has no doors. (No need for details. Insert imagination here.) I think the last guest must've sprayed the showerhead everywhere because the carpet everywhere even out in the bedroom was moist, the toilet was soaked, etc. When I used the shower, I tried not to repeat the last owner's mistake, but no matter how careful I was water also came out all the way to the bedroom. As an engineer, I am guessing that this is because the floor isn't built with enough incline, so the water doesn't get drained but instead flows wherever it wants. It was disasterous. I had to hold my breath to brush my teeth and did it as quick as possible because the smell and the perpetual moistness of the b

The staff were helpful and polite. The condition, cleanliness and condition of the hotel / rooms was excellent. Inside the hotel was very quiet even though there was a busy main road very close (you would not know it was present). I was with my wife and two children, great value for money.

I stayed here for 4 nights with my wife and young child in a one bedroom room/apartment with a kithenette. For us it was great, everything was clean and comfortable. Our son could sleep in the bedroom while we hung out in the kithcen/lounge, the kitchenette had a fridge and hotplates for simple cooking and there was a supermarket 2 minutes walk away to stock up on cheeses etc. It took about 30 min to get into the center of Paris on the Metro which was fine for us but may not be for everyone. The hotel is also quite basic, if you want fancy furniture or service then this would not be the best place. For a family it was great and we were impressed.

Stopped overnight on way back from south of France holiday.Booked a family room and pleased to find it was a family apartment with 2 rooms and a small kichen with fridge and microwave.Would have ben nice to have at least one English TV channel even if only CNN.No evening meal available but breakfast was ok.Arrived late and reception ordered food to be delivered for us.Had problems with our ar and hotel staff were very helpful when we had to call out breakdown agency and were excellent when we had to arrange hire car to get home, allowing use of fax machine etc for information to be sent to us even after we had checked out and were awaiting information.

This hotel was close to a metro station, which was awesome. It was also in very good condition and the room was comfortable. I loved that it had a kitchenette. However, the service left room to be desired. I asked for directions, and was given the incorrect metro station for where I wanted to go. I asked the people at the front desk if they had a list of shuttle busses to the airport, and the man said he was too busy to get one. I asked if they had someplace where I could mail my postcards from the hotel, and the man said he didn't know. I asked, "Can't I mail them from here?" And he shrugged and ignored me. The next morning, a different worker was nice enough to place my postcards in the outgoing mail box. Also, if you want to use a hairdryer, cord to connect to the internet from your room, or the phone, you will need to pay a deposit first. These things are not just included. I had to use wireless internet from the lobby. Great condition, nice room, but service could use some work. The buffet was nice though, and the workers in the food room were polite.

First visit to Paris and chose the hotel for the price. Good value. Saved tons of money on a 6 day trip with a full kitchenette in the room. Two downsides to the hotel: 1) Distance: It will take you about an hour to reach most Paris destinations. It's also about a 1/2 mile walk to the nearest Metro stops. Doesn't sound like a lot but at the end of long days the feet were hurting a little. 2) Noise: The hotel is right adjacent to the Perepherique (sp?), the highway that surrounds Paris. Really noisy! With no AC in the room had to keep the windows open and were serenaded with traffic all night. The room itself was more than I was expecting and met all of our needs. Had a separate living room with a door that closed and pullout couch. Even had a little 20' lcd tv on the wall. Nothing great but better than most. If price matters to you, I would recommend it in a heart beat. I will probably stay closer next time.

Sorry I would not normally write reviews but I feel this one will help fellow traverlers First hotel look quite impressive on arrival but after we were given our keys we were to be a very disapointed at the room, it was what we discribe as past its best and and in need of an update the room was very hot, I thought that would not be a problem as we can turn on the Air Con? It didnt work, we reported this to the staff and all we received was a shrug from the shoulders, so we tryed to sleep in a room @30 deg +, we only had one small pillow each and very uncomftable beds needless to say we checked out early next morning(7-00am). We have had much better value at half the price from many hotels around Europe this one is the first I will add to my "GIVE IT A MISS LIST".

For the price, this place is right on. It didn't blow us away but definitely did not disappoint. The room was clean with the exception of the carpet. Seemed like it had been a while since a good cleaning. But, it's a hotel. We had a double occupancy room and the size was just enough for 2 people. It was tight, but not suffocating. The kitchenette was perfect for keeping snacks and small meals on hand. Eating out in Paris is like setting your money on fire. For people on a budget, this kitchenette is a life saver. All the receptionists spoke english and were very friendly. The room maintenance was done daily. The complimentary breakfast was typical and well done as expected. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the nearest metro station. This sounds good, but after a long day of walking, it felt like 10 miles haha. It really wasn't an issue after we got our walking legs. The longest metro trip for us was about 30 minutes. The location of the hotel in relation to all the attractions was just fine. The area around the hotel seemed very quiet, safe, and pretty well lit. We had no fear of walking around at night. Also, the hotel is near a couple bar/restaurants, a classier restaurant, a nice bakery, and an indoor mall with a grocery store, which was very nice. All in all, we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget and we would use this hotel again if a future trip was planned. We had a great room and could see the Eiffel Tower in the distance on the opposite side of town. This hotel is a short distance from the metro station and with the kitchenette available it was perfect for chilling wine and preparing a quick breakfast. The staff was helpful with providing local information on how to get around and met our room requests of a high floor with a view. It was very convenient for us for the rate we paid and we felt the surrounding area was very safe for walking around at night.

Stayed at the hotel for a week with my girlfriend. The room was basic but comfortable and clean, and had a pleasant view of the gardens. The location was good as it is located a short walk from the metro and there are several restaurants and supermarkets on the street. Dish soap and a dish cloth are not provided so bring one if you plan to make use of the kitchenette. The hotel presents excellent value for money and I would definitely stay there again. On a per person basis it is only very marginally more expensive then a decent youth hostel!

The hotel is in a good location, but it is not within the city limits. The neighborhood was nice with good access to the metro, some restaurants, bakeries, and a nearby supermarket (where we bought our daily breakfast). The hotel has secure parking, but at an additional fee. The people at the front desk were very friendly, spoke English and provided maps of the city and the metro lines. The room was small but clean, with the toilet and shower in separate rooms which was inconvenient. It was great to have a small fridge and stove in the room. We traveled with children and they slept well on the sofa bed. We loved Paris and we will use this hotel again when we return.

IT was very comfortable, had a friedge, microwavw oven, all the things need it to cook and eat.

Hotel's a block away from the metro subway. The rooms are efficiency apartments with a full kitchen, great for making something quick for dinner and save a couple of bucks.

Citea Paris de Charenton seems to be a hotel if you are looking for a longer stay. Although, it was clean and room was clean and comfortable. There seems to be no good restaurants around the hotel. Since, Paris has excellent Metro (Train) system it does not matter where you are staying. We could able to reach anywhere in Paris from this place with in 30 to 40mins using Metro. Metro station is 10mins walking distance from this Hotel.

Only drawback is that it is bit far from main Paris atractions. Add 30 minutes to your subway trip planning.

Stayed here in November 08 - a group of 13 of us so this place was ideal - all shared big rooms. Was great to have a little kitchen, and it's near a Metro station so good access to everywhere. Also only about €10 for a taxi back from Bastille if you want to stay out after the Metro closes. Overall, excellent value for money, and everyone in the group was happy with the choice!

You really get a great value here. We booked for an extremely low rate per night, and we received a "apartment" room, complete with kitchenette and decent breakfast service in the morning. You can see the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night, and we had a nice wrap around balcony. The room is a little small, but its Paris! As if you need a huge room. The only complaint I had was that the water heater ran out quickly, so don't take a long shower. That's hardly even a big deal. I would certainly recommend to others, particularly if you are traveling on a budget but would like to have a classy, clean hotel.

out of paris a fair bit, but metro statiosn are everywhere and paris is good to walk around in anyway, staff friendly and helpful, spoke english, rooms very clean and comfortable, aircon, and kitchenette helps a lot if you are on a budget.

The rooms were decent size- they offered a living room/ kitchen combo as well as seperate bedroom that slept 4 of us comfortable. The rooms were older and the showers leaked- but all in all the hotel was all right. Close proximity to the Liberty train stop and to many restaurants and grocers. most of the staff do not speak english. can see the Eiffel Tower from the 7th floor window of the hotel

We stayed at this place on our visit to Paris. We booked for 2 adults and 2 children and basically did not know what to expect. A very clean and comfortable place to stay. It is an apartment hotel which means there was a fully equipped kitchen too. The sofa pulled out to be the second bed. There is a spacious bathroom with a heated towel rack which was great because the weather was already cold. A very nice breakfast spread is available every morning from 7 - 10A.M, the only complaint being you have to be there early. They close the doors at 10 promptly and one day by 9.45 there were no croissants available anymore. The only downside to the hotel is its location - it is easily 30mins by subway to the center of the city and you have to change 2 lines. If you have time, this is a great place to stay.

Een studio in een appartementenhotel is een prima alternatief voor een hotel in Parijs. Goed te bereiken met de metro, voldoende winkels in de buurt en dichtbij het Bois de Vincennnes. De receptie van het hotel is nogal zakelijk, maar de overige service is goed verzorgd en de kamers zijn schoon en voldoende ingericht. Prijs<->kwaliteit: goed

Certo la vista è impressionante, ma per chi non soffre di avere davanti un cimitero è ok! Sinceramente è l'unica nota stonata. La casa vacanza è confortevole, è vicina alla metropolitana, ho trovato pentole e accessori in buono stato. Scomodo il letto del divano ma ci siamo accontentati visto che era solo per pochi giorni. Il personale era molto cordiale e nonstante la formula residence ci hanno rifatto la camera tutti i giorni.

Het hotel ligt vlak aan de Periferique, is goed bereikbaar. Wij hadden een studio. Dat houdt in een 2-persoons uitklapbed en een aparte slaapkamer met 2 1-persoons bedden. Uitgerust met een keukenblok. Was goed te doen met z'n vieren. Geen lawaaioverlast, keurig schoon. De auto kun je voor 9 euro per dag parkeren in de parkeergarage onder het hotel. Wij hadden ontbijt voor 6 euro p.p. bijgeboekt, is echt de moeite waard. Bestaat uit buffet van croissants, stokbrood, krentebroodjes, div. soorten yoghurt, koffie, thee, melk, sap. Prima! Metro is een paar min. lopen.

Das Hotel liegt an der Peripherie von Paris, das Zentrum ist mit der Metro gut zu erreichen. Für die Anreise mit Pkw sehr geeignet, Garage im Haus. Für drei Personen war das Appartement ausreichend groß und ganz gut ausgestattet. Fahrradverleih (Velib) vor dem Haus!

Juste à déplorer le bruit (bcp de touristes qui rentrent tard et parlent fort, claquent les portes) mais ce n'est pas la faute de l'hôtel… Le reste OK, bon rapport qualité-prix, facilement accessible par le métro.

Un hotel un peu excentré, mais très confortable pour un prix acceptable. Est proche du métro, le centre restant facilement accessible. Il est très proche du périphérique, mais un système de triple vitrage évite toute gêne liée au bruit.

lit confortable, chambre très propre, déco sympa. j'ai bien aimé la kitchenette. le petit centre commercial tout proche. métro à 500m, idéal quand on veut aller voir un concert à bercy. le personnel est compétent et très accueillant.

Hatten zu viert ein praktisch eingerichtetes Appartment. Die Matratzen waren hervorragend, leider nur 2 Doppelbetten.was unsere Söhne befremdlich fanden. Die Isolierfenster sind gut, aber durchaus nötig. Wenn man lüftet, versteht man kaum noch ein Wort (Pheripherie=Autobahn direkt unter dem Fenster!), deshalb würde ich nur in der kalten Jahreszeit dort übernachten. Küchenzeile und Bad sind komplett eingerichtet. Waren sehr zufrieden.

L'hôtel est proche du métro, ce qui permet un accès direct et rapide aux quartiers plus vivants ou touristique. La proximité du périphérique n'est absolument pas dérangeante, l'hôtel étant très bien insonorisé. La chambre était très grande (1 chambre + 1 pièce à vivre transformable). Seul petit bémol, il ne faisait pas très chaud et une couverture supplémentaire n'aurait pas été superflue. Un très bon choix si vous cherchez un bon rapport qualité/prix en privilégiant la surface et la proximité de Paris.

Hebben ons prima vermaakt in dit hotel. T is een zakelijk hotel, maar wij waren dan ook weinig op de kamer zelf. Als je in Parijs bent dan ben je ook vaak weg! Kamer was netjes, elke dag was je bed weer opgemaakt en je badkamer schoon met nieuwe handdoeken. Het enige nadeel was dat de bedden erg klein waren(twijfelaarbed). Wij hadden een 4 persoonskamer, maar we waren blij dat we met zn 2e waren!

Das 2-Zimmer-Appartement war eine gute Option für unsere 4-köpfige Familie. Für relativ wenig Geld darf man natürlich nicht zuviel erwarten aber die Zimmer waren sauber und in gutem Zustand, mit ordentlichem Bad und kleiner Küchenzeile. Bäcker und Supermarkt zur Selbstversorgung sind in max. 5 min. Fussweg zu erreichen. Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb aber bei 300 m zur nächsten Metro-Station dauert es keine 30 min bis man in der City ist.

Agréablement surprise par l'espace : deux pièces! Kitchenette bien pratique pour éviter les frais supplémentaires. Hotel au pied d'une route très fréquentée mais aucun bruit dans la chambre : deux fenêtres double vitrage!!!! Par contre, il manque une couverture sur le couchage canapé et une raclette dans la douche (salle de bain inondée à chaque douche.....).

Nice location pretty close to a Metro station, but slightly off from the city center. The provide free Internet via cable, but it was really slow for me. Rooms were small, almost cramped, but convenient with kitchenette. Not well soundproofed, but fortunately our neighbours were quiet. Has relatively cheap parking rates for their indoor parking garage.

Het hotel oogt aan de buitenzijde wat kil en zakelijk en zo zijn ook de kamers/appartementen ingericht. Het is niet het romantische hotel wat wellicht andere hotels in Parijs wel te bieden hebben. Daarentegen is het wel een prima verblijfshotel voor een aantal dagen in Parijs te vertoeven. Het is gemakkelijk berijkbaar. Metrostations liggen op slechts enkele minuten lopen en hebben een prima verbinding via lijn 8 naar vrijwel alle "must have seens" van Parijs. Ideale ligging dus. Kamers zijn netjes schoon en elke dag weer keurig gecleaned en handdoeken verschoond. Gemakkelijk was wel dat je ook in de kamer kunt koken/ontbijten. Koelkast is gemakkelijk zeker als je met kinderen bent. Supermarkt en bakker liggen op enkele minuten lopen evenals enkele eenvoudige restaurantjes/cafe's. Al met al een prima uitvalsbasis als je niet perse op zoek bent naar het meest romantische hotelletje van Parijs. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, maar ook weer behoorlijk formeel. Parkeren van je auto kun je evt. onder het hotel, voor 9 euro per nacht.

Dieses Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert, da es eine sehr gute Lage hat, nicht teuer ist und einen guten Service bietet. Das Personal war freundlich und sehr zuvor-kommend.
